Beliefs
Without Reason - by Bob Dick
We
frequently cling to beliefs for no logical reason other than the
fact that we have always believed them and feel impelled to
defend them at all costs.
In
another contribution from one of the Bob Dick websites, he
explores how these beliefs are imbedded in our subconscious by
childhood teaching, given without adequate
explanation. Injunctions from authority figures, parental
"drivers", and so on.
How
do these beliefs survive? How are they to be challenged?
Bob
Dick provides some fascinating insights and prescriptions for
change.
