Superstition and the Confessions of a Sage - by Ramsey Dukes

Ramsey Dukes, who was a valued contributor to the original issues of Nurturing Potential, has kindly provided this contribution to our renewed initiative.

The article was originally produced for the Blog of Baphomet website, January 2013

Talisman - by Sylvia Farley

Definition of "Talisman":   (1) an object held to act as a charm to avert evil and bring good fortune; (2) something producing apparently magical or miraculous effects.

Linking her article to the native American quest for a personal talisman, Sylvia describes how we might adapt this symbolic charm and quest for spiritual guidance  to "more or less civilized" seekers.
